STEP 53: Business cards

Carry plenty of business cards with you so you can quickly hand them out. It’s amazing how many people go to business meetings and networking events without business cards. The great networkers always keep a stack of their business cards close at hand: when they’re at the beach, on their boat or working out. They’re never without them and neither should you.

If contacts say that you and their friend would make a good match, give them two business cards: one for them and the other for their friend. If they give you their business card, write on the back the name and contact information for their friend, ask if you can call and use their name.
