Written By Steps To Faculty Published April 19th, 2010

Books can really be very informative and appealing. At the same time, books depict the culture of a particular civilization. Both the books & culture are interrelated. The free access to communication, views and belief are one of the most prized possessions of human beings. What does this mean to your business?

Step 1 Look at the big picture

A book is like a medium. It involves important information and knowledge and imparts it to human beings. Besides, as disparate to common judgment, it has constantly been a firmly official affair. Even the most modern writings in various books are simply innovations of the past packaged beautifully to meet the current demands of the reader. In many aspects, audio books are much more appealing and radical when compared with e-books. They do not have image symbols or a simple scrolling technique. E-books are concerned with technology and reading. Another important aspect of the books is its mobility. They can be moved anywhere without any problems. To communicate to your customers, consider using audio books or e-books. You may also want to write a book that is easily downloaded onto the iPad.

Step 2 Learn culture

All cultures incorporate a set of beliefs and thoughts that make the system of principles and ethical laws for that specific culture. In Asia many people were open to the elements to a certain culture which was very popular and therefore incorporated certain views and beliefs that now conclude their activities as a detached culture. In various parts of the world people contribute to diverse beliefs and thoughts due to a range of causes. Religion is one of the most crucial and vital aspect that changes or creates culture. Another important aspect would be the history of the past that constitutes culture. Use this knowledge of culture to steer your marketing campaigns and how your customers respond to your products. For example, if you are in the beauty and hair care industry, did you know that Brazilian women are the largest consumers of such products? By knowing culture you can expand your business.

Step 3 Draw the link

By knowing different cultures and markets, you can cater your e-book or audiobook to meet the demands of your target consumer base.

So it can be said that books & culture have close connection.
