Too many people are manipulative. They try to guess at what you want; they manipulate your wants to achieve what they want. There is a lack of a genuine commitment to your well being or to your investment or that of investors.
Many times people seek money for their business but their manipulations become clear:
1. Their business plan is not well thought out.
2. Or their business plan is too contrived with all the bells and whistles.
3. The management team lack coherence and skills.
4. The projections are unrealistic – especially, when you examine the assumptions.
Warren Buffett: Look for the perfect pitch. When elements are missing, do not proceed unless you can find the solutions before you invest.
