You can literally become a money sucking magnet and be among those who can brag of making money fast. These principles are easy to follow and very effective, granted that you follow them

Wherever you are presently in your life you can begin to make large amounts of money very fast if you understand a few simple principles. Despite what anyone may tell you these principles of generating money fast do work.

These principles are not difficult but in order to understand them you must process them. You must take the time to give them some thought, until the thought becomes a part of your very being.

How to make money fast is one of the hot topics on everyone’s mind.

Most people will tell you that claims of making fast money is a hokes. Those are the very people who believe that only hard work and struggle can create money. However despite the hard work, the concept of fast money is still not part of the equation. After all if you are working very hard you are unlikely to be making the sort of fast money that you would dream of.

I can tell you from first hand experience that fast money does not come through hard work. If you are marketing your business or interested in accumulating more money struggling will only kill your changes of getting money in a fast and easily way.

     –Step 1–

The first think you need in order to make fast money is to have a clear goal. How much do you want? You would be so surprise at how many people want more money but don’t have a clear idea as to how much they want.

Without a clear goal your desire is just a wish, it is not concrete. Be specific about how much money you want and by when you would like to have it.

     –Step 2 –

The very next step is to take inspired action. Inspired action comes from the universe as a nudge. It’s the perfect idea, job or business that will help you in getting your goal accomplished.

It makes no sense trying to do something that your neighbor or your coworker tried. What is an ideal opportunity to make fast money for them may not be ideal for you. Besides your goals are unique and the opportunities that are rightfully aligned for you are rightfully suited for you to reach your goal in the time that you desire.

     –Step 3–

The third most powerful step is to have a clear and bright vision of your goal. This is where most people fail. Most people get caught up in fear and worry that their goal will not be able to materialize and spend lots of wasted time holding back on their actions.

How many times have you been offered a great idea which you may have promised to do but allowed your fears to get in the way?

You must be able to hold your vision in such a way as to feed it with your own personal powerful intention that your vision will materializes money a lot faster than usual.

Many people who understand the power of holding a clear vision have gone on to make money very fast again and again. Those are the ones who deeply understood the precise way. With a little time and your deep desire you can literally suck money to you faster.

Over the years I can honestly say that I have tested all these theories and without fail they work in generating money faster than if I did not practice these methods.

The best laid plans of mice and men oft go awry.

Wwere it not for the great worldwide events, the chance variable, the outlier, life would be far different.

In his book “Outlier”, Malcolm Gladwell write about these extreme variables in life. As well, the same topic of outliers is written about in “The Black Swan: The Impact of The Highly Improbable”, by Nassim Taleb. Forces beyond our control such as hurricanes, tsunamis and earthquakes – create confusions and chaos in our lives.

Chronic and debilitating diseases can attack us, and bring much suffering. And, oftentimes, human avariciousness, deception, and hunger for power causes mass suffering.

But, there is a light that shines through all this chaos and misfortune. There are favorable outliers that become things like Facebook, Microsoft, scientific discoveries, random acts of courage.

The need to remain vigilant is spoken to in the Psalms of the Bible. You will not be able to control the random variables – such is the human condition.

But, what you can be as vigilant as possible about those things that are in your control, and make a commitment to live your life to the fullest no matter what life throws at you. Here’s how:

Step 1: Have integrity
Step 2. Help to improve the human condition
Step 3. Aim for a greater consciousness
Step 4. Seek good health for you and those you love
Step 5. Help those that are not as fortunate by expending your time, money and resources
Step 6. Be alert to natural disasters in your area and try to prepare as much as you can for them
Step 7. Never let your guard down – especially with those nearest and dearest to you. Remain trusting, but remember your and others human frailty.

Be vigilant.

Imagine two situations; 1) finding $1,000, that is yours to keep with no strings attached and 2) earning $1,000 through hard-work.

I’m curious – is there any difference between the value of them? Do you consider one to be worth more than the other? Is there any difference in how you would spend them?

Are they different to you in some way? You can do exactly the same thing with them. I wonder if you really would. Well if you do attach a different value to them you could be missing out; read on to learn how to get more for free!

My point in all this questioning is that if we only value the ‘things’ that we have to work hard for there is a danger that the ‘things’ that we can have with ease just pass us by – they are undervalued and do not grab our attention. These ‘things’ are not just money of course but skills, knowledge, relationships to name a few; they are all valuable assets.

The secret of success is to consider this all in two parts:

Step 1) the value of it – that is how well it meets your needs, not just monetary value. This applies whether it was easy to come by or not.

Step 2) the recognition of the achievement in attaining it. Some things can be harder to acquire than others and we should reward ourselves through recognition when we acquire such things.

You see, it is worth the same whether you had to acquire new skills or resources to get it or rely on the existing (carefully honed) ones that you take for granted.

How about if, from now on, you recognize what you have for what it is worth and separately for what it took to achieve it. Seeing it as two parts will open your awareness to the things that you can have that are already available to you without effort.

When you see yourself making these changes and getting different results be sure to thank yourself. Your mind wants to please you and likes gratitude. In return it will do it all the more for you.

Enjoy getting richer!

What women really want: to marry a rich man?

Step 1: What women really want: to marry a rich man

The UK newspaper Telegraph recently published a new study by Dr. Catherine Hakim at the London School of Economics. According to Dr. Hakim, more women are marrying for money today than they did in the 1940s. “There is a myth that women invariably choose to have a relationship of total equality”, says Dr. Hakim. The study’s findings tell you that women are increasingly choosing to date and marry men who are better educated than themselves, and therefore have higher earning capacity.

Step 2: Dr. Hakim states that women now face a difficult dilemma. If we want gender equality, it may be difficult to admit for some women that they would prefer to be housewives than career-minded women.

The Coalition (UK) announced a series of measures intended to narrow the pay gap between men and women. This study was made public after that announcement. Large companies could be forced to declare how much more they pay men, said Lynne Featherstone, the Liberal Democrat equalities minister.

Dr Hakim thinks men dominate top positions because many women simply do not want long careers in business (children, family etc).

Centre for Policy Studies think tank published this 52-page report. Dr Hakim says: “Women’s aspiration to marry up, if they can, to a man who is better-educated and higher-earning, persists in most European countries. Women thereby continue to use marriage as an alternative or supplement to their employment careers.”

By the way, Dr Hakim’s research drew on an extensive review of existing studies from around the world, census data, and national surveys conducted in Britain and Spain. It was not just UK based.

Step 3: In 1949, 20 percent of women married husbands with significantly higher levels of education than their own.

Surprisingly enough, in the late 1990s, the proportion of women who were “marrying up” had almost doubled to 38 percent. The ame trends are seen across much of Europe (note: not all Europe), the US and Australia.

Not surprisingly, the highly educated, professional elite is more in favor of the “symmetrical family roles”, with men and women sharing child-care, housework and employment. It is “not the ideal sought by most couples”, the report said.

Step 4: Dr Hakim feels “It has become impossible to say ‘I wouldn’t mind being a housewife.” “It is so politically incorrect that a lot of women don’t want to admit it.”

If you believe what the report says the “war” for equal opportunities between men and women is over in the UK. The gap in pay between the two sexes has fallen from about 30% in the 1970s to as low as 10% today. Women do now have an equal opportunity to find work, but choose different priorities for their lives.

Interestingly enough the report also said it was wrong for politicians to expect that equal opportunities would result in equal numbers of women as men in particular jobs.

Ladies and Gentlemen? Does money play a role in choosing a mate? I must admit I saw lots of women in New York – and some men – where it was 100% clear to anyone watching their choices for a life partner.

This was an interesting study for me personally because I think my home country Finland is one of those countries where this does not apply.

Mark Twain used to say, “Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.” While you may want to think that what you wear doesn’t have much of an influence, the truth is that it certainly can, depending on what type of meeting or event you are attending.

There used to be a time when I went to any meetings in a formal skirt/pants and a jacket and all men wore a suit and tie. That’s just the way that meetings used to be held whether you were in Finland where I started my career, or on Wall Street. But, today, most meetings I have attended have pretty much gone to a standard t-shirt and jeans look. Well, at least sort of. However, it is still important to pay attention to your attire and match it to your audience’s or client’s expectations.

Case in point – if you are a lawyer like I used to be – or are attending a meeting at a law office, I would highly recommend you still want to don the suit and tie. I would not try to get away with jeans in that type of meeting. However, there are some other types of meetings where you can, and probably should forgo a suit and tie.

Step 1: Match Your Dress Code with Your Audience – the RIGHT Audience

Wearing jeans to a law office meeting is not a great idea but you could likely get away with it at any media company. It’s all about knowing and understanding your audience. So how do you know this if you are not exactly socially savvy? Do a little investigative work online before you go, that should do the trick.

Social media sites reveal more about a person than most people would probably want other people knowing! Do a quick search for the people you are meeting with, on Facebook and LinkedIn. Look at those people’s pictures. Concentrate on those photos taken at after-office parties and get-togethers (taken right after people have a typical day of work), they will give you a good idea of how they dress.

You can simply call the office where you will be meeting and sound out the receptionist about the typical dress environment. Just say something like, “I want to make sure I dress appropriately for your office environment when I come there for a meeting. May I ask, do your colleagues wear suits, business casual or jeans?”

Step 2: This is NOT a Place to Take a Risk -Play it Safe

The final tip is that you should keep in mind that it is better to over-dress than it is to under-dress – all diplomates follow this rule for a reason. While your Savile Row three-piece suit may draw a few amused looks at a skyscaper construction site, it will not get you booted. However, a fashionable sexy pair of low cut jeans, a t-shirt and strappy sandals at an accounting firm like Ernst & Young will NOT do much to get you the job or the sale. The WRONG audience.

The old saying goes – “When in Rome…” Interpretation: Try to dress according to what will fit in with where you are going, and dress up a bit if you aren’t sure about the expected attire. The closer you can come to matching the attire of those you are meeting with, the more likely it is that they will feel you are one of them. It is not always a good thing to stand out like a movie star.

T. Harv Eker says:” Image IS everything … and it’s nothing, a classic Zen paradox. Of course people are going to respond to how we look … we don’t need too many primers on that. But we need to look at ourselves as people who are competent in what we do, have value to give, and deserve to be rewarded for it. The money you “deserve” is a choice in life just like anything else. You choose what you receive through what you do. It’s up to you.

T. Harv Eker will be joining the StepsTo.com team in Las Vegas for our 7 Steps To Launch Conference on Feb 11, 12 and 13 2011. Look forward to seeing you there.

Stripping away 99% of your business start up excuses in one article!

Do you really want to change you financial landscape within the next 12 months?

Because if you do, I’m going to tell you how.

You MAY not want to read what I’m about to write because it WILL remove excuses you have. In fact, after this very simple tip, you will no longer have the ready-made excuse that perhaps you’ve used in the past. I will strip it away like Dad rips off the warm covers on a winter morning.

The most common excuses that I hear folks offer for not getting off their duffs and starting their investment careers are (1) time and (2) knowledge. (The number one unspoken excuse is fear.) For this article, I am REMOVING the time and knowledge excuses. I’ll get to the fear part…briefly.

Okay, if you’re still reading, here goes…but I warn you. You may not like it.

Step 1: Turn off the stinkin’ TV!

I mean, avoid it like the plague! It’s robbing you blind. To be precise, it’s costing you tens of thousands of dollars per year if you are like most Americans and tune into TV or watch movies for 1-3 hours a day.

What a country we are. The average American buys a TV and then that TV costs many times more than the cost of the set per year in opportunity loss. We buy, bring it into our homes, and give it a place of prominence, and let it steal from us!

I boldly say you and I can make an extra $10,000-$50,000 per year on a mere 10 hours a week by rehabbing real estate. I know this because I do it.

A little math…let’s say you watch TV a mere 1.5 hours a day on weekdays, and sports on the weekend at 2.5 hours a day. If you give up all TV, that’s 12 and a half hours a week.

In other words, you can watch a game on the weekends and STILL have 10 hours a week to devote to a real estate investing career.

Let’s say you are someone who is on the LOW end of American TV watching habits and you watch an average of 1 hour of TV a day. (Which means you probably don’t watch sports.) In that case, turning it off means you need to invest a mere 3 hours a week. Do you have 3 hours a week if it pays $10,000-$50,000 per week?

Reality check. If you watch football, you probably watch a college game on Saturday, a pro game on Sunday, and Monday Night football. In that case, that’s a minimum of 7 hours per week of the 5-month season…gone! Many football fans watch more!

So what could you do with that time? Get the knowledge you need to start with. How many books or courses can you work through if you honestly devote 10 hours a week? Since the process of rehabbing real estate isn’t rocket science, it’s a process that must be learned, it isn’t going to take many weeks to be flush with knowledge and ready to put a business plan into action.

There will be a few reading this that don’t watch much TV at all. (You are rare indeed!) Examine your habits and see where you time is going. There is often time sinks that you can capitalize on by changing your habits. Do you surf the net for hours on end? Do you spend 2 hours a day pumping iron.

Or…oh, this one might hit close to home…do you sleep 10-12 hours a day?

Chances are there is a way to eek out some hours by a relatively minor change in habits.

I can hear it already…GIVE UP TV?! That’s not a minor adjustment!

Baloney.

Let’s see how important TV really is to you. There are two ways to think about this.

Approach number 1:

Let’s say I knock on your door and wave ten thousand dollars in front of your face. All you have to do to get it is give me your TV for a year. Would you go for it? What if I offered you twenty grand?

Approach number 2:

Let’s look at what giving up TV would mean to you.

– You wouldn’t be able to talk about what happened on TV last night at the water cooler at work. I mean you could, but you would not have watched it.

– You would miss seeing first hand who beat who to a pulp on the field, or on the court.

– Shows will come and go, and you will have never have seem them.

Perish the thought! You’d miss stuff on TV, but the sun will continue to come up, the Earth spins, and your financial picture gets a lot rosier!

Is the time you spend in front of the TV really worth what it’s costing you? $10,000 or $20,000, or even $30,000 or more…every year?

Step 2: I’ll go a step further. You could stop watching all your favorite programs and guess what, your life would be unchanged.

If you did something positive with that time you spent watching them, your life will be changed for the better.

For you sports fans…Let’s say “your” team wins the championship this year. Does that change your life in any way? Do you get a raise? Do you move into a better house? Does it really change anything that matters? Sure, you get to tell folks that they are “your” team even when they aren’t and nobody on the team knows you from Adam. In fact, if “your” team wins you will probably be even more into them, spend more time watching TV, so the cost to you goes up!

I don’t mean to sound like I’m on my soap box, but there are many folks who need a wake up call. Capturing TV time and using it to your financial benefit is a relatively minor habit adjustment that can result is some serious financial gain. Spend a month learning, then put a plan into action. That’s how things get changed.

My close friends and family know that I rarely turn on my TV. Years ago, I made the commitment to use my time better and since I have improved my life immensely by doing so. So, I want you to know that I am living my own advice. While it’s true that I’ve never seen a minute of “reality” TV, and I prefer to see my sports live, my life is quite different now! I’ll never look at TV the same again!

You can do the same. This minor habit adjustment can mean you take the reigns of your financial future and drive it where you want to go.

I knew some of you would not like it, but there it is…the formula to free up a LOT of time and how to gain the knowledge you need to make this coming year the most profitable yet. Will you do it?

Studies have shown that successful entrepreneurs possess these characteristics:

Step 1. Self-confidence

This is that magical power of having confidence in oneself and in one’s powers and abilities.

Step 2. Achievement Oriented

Results are gained by focused and sustained effort. They concentrate on achieving a specific goal, not just accomplishing a string of unrelated tasks.

Step 3. Risk Taker

They realize that there is a chance of loss inherent in achieving their goals, yet they have the confidence necessary to take calculated risks to achieve their goals.

Entrepreneurs are people who will make decisions, take action, and think that they can control their own destinies. They are often motivated by a spirit of independence which leads them to believe that their success depends on raw effort and hard work, not luck.

So which of these three main characteristics is the most important? Believe it or not, it has to be self-confidence. Without self-confidence, nothing else is possible. If you don’t believe in your abilities, then the first challenge that arises may knock you off the path to achieving your goals. Here are a few things to keep in mind for maintaining a higher level of self-confidence.

Step 4. Positive Thinking

Well, it all starts with a positive attitude, doesn’t it? Believing that something good will happen is the first step. Negative thinking simply is not allowed. You must truly believe that there are no circumstances strong enough to deter you from reaching your goals. Remember too, that positive thinking can be contagious. When positive thinking spreads, it can open doors to new ideas, customers, friends, etc.

Step 5. Persistent Action

Now all of the positive thinking and believing in the world is useless if it is not applied towards a goal. You have to take action, no excuses are allowed. This action must also be persistent. Trying once and then giving up is not going to be enough. Keep at it one step at a time. If you can’t get by a certain step, then find a creative way to try again or just go around it.

At the beginning of this article we identified a few traits that are common among successful entrepreneurs. You should be able to look ahead and see yourself where you want to be. Now just maintain a strong belief in yourself and your skills, stick with it, and don’t give up. If you can do that, you’re already half way there!

Do you want to something daring? Have you considered surfing? If so, then you will be surprised to know how simple it is to get started. If you live in an area that does not have a coast, for example Montana or Nebraska, you might want to consider starting at a beach area where there are waves that you can ride on. If you already live near a beach area that has varying wave length’s then you are almost there. The following steps and a little practice are all you need.

Step 1 Get a trainer

If you have never surfed before, the best approach to get started in surfing is to hire a trainer to show you the ropes for the first few times you try to surf. By doing so, you not only will have a trained professional help you learn, but you will also be safer in the event an unexpected riptide throws you off balance. If you live near a coast line, such as in California, Florida, or the Carolinas, there are many trainers right on the beach, just ask the lifeguard nearby. The trainers usually have starter gear for you to rent so you do not need to purchase them upfront.

Step 2 Get your gear

You will need a surfboard, protective gear, a wetsuit, and goggles. It is important that the wetsuit fit tightly to ensure your body temperature remains intact as you will be out in the water for hours at a time. These items can be found at amazon.com or surfing.com.

Step 3 Begin off-peak

You do not want to try surfing when there is a crowd. You will feel more comfortable and also have more room to learn to surf.

Step 4 Pick the right spot

A slow and moist sand bottom waters are the best places to begin to learn to surf. Be sure the waves do not rise past your mid waist. Generally mid waist to knee is the best place to continue your surfing practice until you become a master. A long beach front with varying wave lengths is optimal at this stage. Also, be sure to avoid any region that is rocky or has deep waters. If you are not a pro, surfing can be complex and if there is an obstacle such as a rock, this can be life threatening.

Step 5 Invite a friend

Until you have has at least 100 hours of surf time, always bring a friend or a professional along in case something occurs. Not only will you have more fun, but there will be someone else to cover you in case of an emergency or accident.

Surfs up. Please visit stepsto.com for more great business advice.
