What is Steps To?

Steps To is an online education company that delivers world-class business curriculum to a broad range of customers, including small business owners, professionals, and employees of business organizations.  Steps To offers practical step-by-step courses whose guiding principle is we all have the capacity we need to be an excellent learner.  Most people, however, use only a fraction of their real potential.   Steps To blends the best elements of a traditional business education with the most critical real-world, clear Step-by-Step plans on which to work and how to do it. In addition to its innovative curriculum, Steps To is distinguished by the interactive learning experiences it provides through innovative content delivery.

Steps To was founded on the principle that the key to success in today’s business environment is knowledge. However you define success–whether it’s advancing in your career, starting a profitable business, or creating wealth through investment–the need to take charge of one’s own education has never been more critical. Steps To offers courses, tips, products and programs in a wide range of subjects—wealth building, real estate, entrepreneurship, and more–that will help you meet your goals.

The mentors, instructors and coaches (“faculty”) of Steps To includes industry leaders and experts in their area. And of course, we have distilled and incorporated the insights, experience, and practical know-how of Gary Spirer himself.

Can I earn college credits or a degree by taking courses from Steps To?
Steps To does not offer credits or degrees.

Why might I consider e-learning?

E-learning will enable you to enhance your skills even if you can’t travel to an offsite training facility or if you have a hectic work schedule. It also provides an economical way to grow professionally–to practice lifelong learning–since e-learning is usually less expensive than off-site training, including travel costs.

What is “Learning by Doing” and what is the advantage of this method?

Learning by doing is exactly what it sounds like: an active, practical method of education that uses simulations, role-playing, and hands-on problem-solving. Steps To has based all of its courses on this method because it is a better way to learn. You remember what you experience much better than what you are told (as in a lecture course), and you can actually apply it in the real world. The best way to learn about real estate, for example, is to do real estate. You will emerge from our courses with a level of understanding that would not be possible had you merely read text and taken multiple-choice tests. Trump University has adopted the learning by doing method in order to provide the best and deepest learning possible.

How are the coaches, other instructors or mentors chosen for StepsTo courses?
Only professors who have an extensive amount of industry experience are considered for the Trump University faculty. In keeping with the “learning by doing” format of these courses, we select only the candidates that combine a proven track record of real-world success with leading academic credentials.
